Frequently asked questions

About the jewlery itself

What’s the difference between the PHM Rosaries V1 & V2?

V1 & V2 are the two options we currently have for the PHM Rosaries. V1 is a simpler and more budget friendly rosary made with glass beads, mineral, and metal beads. V2 is a more “luxury” version which features crystal cut beads, glass, mineral, and metal. V2 also uses 18k plated gold hardware. V1 uses a variety of coated metals. The V2 uses more mineral and stone beads than the V1 which makes it heavier.

How are the rosaries made?

Each rosary is hand made by an incredibly small team of 2. The ships are made from multiple metal beads used for spacers or decoration pieces and wire. Each bead is hand bent and every single rosary is assembled in house. We have no outsourcing and create every single piece of the rosary is hand done by the two of us.

Where do you supply your beads?

All supplies are sourced from local and online retailers. Some aspects of the jewlery are acquired at local big box stores such as Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. As time comes with the production of jewlery we are working on getting more of our stock from local small businesses. As of now the majority of our glass and crystal beads are sourced from small businesses local to our area and as time goes on the goal is to fully source materials from the local sellers.

Where are your products manufactured?

Our products are manufactured all in Las Vegas, Nevada USA

Do you plan on creating other pieces of jewelry or art to sell on this website?

I plan on possibly selling non PHM related rosaries and creating a small bracelet and necklace drop based off of the PHM rosaries as an alternative option for those who want to wear their merch more often without fear of damage to the art piece.

You didn’t make the original art for the rosaries, is the artist aware you’re selling their idea?

Yes, Shrugs (@shrugsinchinese on tiktok) is aware and working with me in this project. They have given me full permission to sell this art. Every PHM rosary order ( not including those which are only for the pendant of the rosary ) come with a 4x6 print of the original artwork Shrugs created. Each PHM rosary order I receive also benefits Shrugs for their beautiful work monetarily. Supporting my art directly supports the original artist as well.

On the interest form there’s a button to acknowledge each piece looks different, what does this mean?

Each rosary will have differences in them visually. Since each piece is handmade there is no promise that every single rosary or ship pendant will look the same. I work very hard to try to maintain consistency in my work but due to the sheer amount of orders being made as well as limited human ability (lol) there will be differences in visuals but none in integrity. Some V1 Rosaries may have mixed metals and differing beads every now and then. In my personal work I do usually source several different types of materials in order to complete the job and this applies to the rosaries as well. There may be small changes over time to the beads used for planets just because I want to consistently work on making them better.

Shipping and production times

How does ordering work? Will my order be shipped same day as purchase?

Every single order unless stated otherwise has a production time of 2 weeks minimum per drop. For now instead of having open orders we will continue to release rosaries in drops rather than made to order. The sheer amount of people interested in buying a rosary and the amount of workers we have to fulfill orders are still too high and too low to allow open orders. When you order a PHM Rosary or ship they will ship on the date provided on the front of the page or in an update email.

What are the shipping polices?

Shipping is provided and hosted by shopify. Multiple shipping options are available upon purchase.

What is the production timeline for my order?

PHM Rosary V1: 2 weeks from drop date

PHM Rosary V2: 2 weeks from drop date

PHM Pendant: 2 weeks from drop date

PHM Ship pendant DIY kit: 5 days

Other important things

Are the PHM rosaries delicate? How should I take care of my piece of art?

The rosaries are a delicate item. They are made to withstand handling but please be aware that they are not able to withstand aggressive use. Please do not pull or tug the rosary to prevent disconnection between the beads. Please do not throw, stomp, crush, or drop the rosary if possible. The ships are reinforced to ensure they won’t dissasemble from possible damage but they are not impossible to break. Possible damage is reasonable to expect due to the handmade and delicate nature of these pieces of art. If your rosary arrives damaged or disassembled please contact me immediately so I can assist or fix said damage. I am willing to fix issues within reason. If the damage is obviously due to negligence of ownership I will have to refuse service.

Im not catholic, I don’t pray, what the heck do I even do with the rosary??

The rosaries are purely an art piece. Each rosary is made to be prayable, but you do not need to be religious to own this. My recommendation for display is to hang it on a wall, on a rear view mirror, in a shadow box, or even just keep around to stare at every now and then.

I am Catholic and I don’t like that you are using my religion to create art, what do you have to say for yourself?

As someone who aligns themselves with religion but doesn’t have a true identity, these are purely pieces of art that play on the concept of the PHM mission being a “Hail Mary.” There is no intention to mock the meaning behind a rosary in order to create this art. Each piece is made with respect and with the proper bead placements to reflect the use of a proper rosary. We do not discredit or mock religion nor the science that is shared between the source materials that combine to create this piece of art. I have personal experience creating rosaries meant for prayer beforehand and I have a love for this franchise. The original concept ( By shrugs @shrugsinchinese on tiktok ) purely represents the idea of this mission being a “hail mary” and is artistic representative of the symbolism behind the name. I come from Catholic roots myself so I can ensure that despite the art piece using an important part of the religion, we do not view these pieces of art as a representative of the religious practices or beliefs.
